HCL Water Trailer

Moisture is an important component in the composting cycle. In addition to oxygen, the metabolic processes of microorganisms require an adequate amount of hydration. The HCL water trailer complements our turners by providing the necessary flow of water to the water manifold and, ultimately, to the hydrating spray nozzles. For additional information regarding compost hydration, visit the following water fact sheet. HCL stocks three-foot compost thermometers to assist in controlling the temperature of a pile. For more information pertaining to compost temperatures, please see the following temperature fact sheet.
